Finally, it is Spring and the sun is shining! Naturally, that means it’s time to pull out the short sleeves and…sunscreen! One of our biggest mistakes is not using proper sun protection. It’s the biggest step you can take to prevent aging and skin cancer. Here’s a sunscreen essentials checklist –
- Broad-spectrum. This is one of the most important aspects of a sunscreen. Broad-spectrum simply means that it protects against both UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays cause aging and UVB rays cause burning.
- Reapply. For all day protection, it’s essential to reapply sunscreen. It won’t last all day through sweat and day-to-day activity.
- Use sunscreen year round. Even on cloudy days, up to 40% of the sun’s rays reach the Earth, so no skipping!
Now that we’ve covered the basics, allow me to introduce our NEW SPF 30 Face Moisturizer! It’s a broad-spectrum, lightweight moisturizer that also serves as a makeup primer or aftershave. It’s formulated with Vitamins E, A, B, C, & D to hydrate and green tea anti-oxidants to protect against environmental damage.
