How do you gel?

That is the question…

A modern interpretation of the “old school” styling gel, our Firm Hold Gel complements our hair care assortment for women and men with sensitive skin and scalp concerns. If you are looking for a firm hold with maximum control and sculpting, look no further.

My hair is usually very straight, but that changes when NYC humidity kicks in. The Firm Hold Gel tames the frizz and adds volume without drying my processed locks. I work a quarter-sized amount through dry hair, and I am good to go for the entire day.

I have a lot of hair, so I apply a liberal amount in three sections after towel blotting. I love it because it defines my curls with no crunchy feeling.

I use the Peppermint Shampoo and Cilantro Hair Conditioner in the shower, leaving the Cilantro Hair Conditioner in for texture.  I put in the Firm Hold Gel when I still have a wet head and then blow dry my hair to a light dampness.  I then comb my hair and head out for the day – 12 hours later, my hair’s still in place.

The Firm Hold Gel however gives me a more polished look for when I'm dressed up formally and am looking for that all day hold with a healthy shine. After washing my hair, I towel it dry but leave it slightly damp. Then I'll run a little over a dime sized amount of the gel and work it through my hair. I'll also blow dry everything in place if necessary.
